Verizon xbox problems

If you own a xbox 360 and just moved into an area that is control by Verizon then you are probably struggling to play your xbox lives online with Verizon DSL.  The problem is when you received your Verizon modem, they simply set you up to get online access to the Internet – which means browsing the Internet.  They don’t tell you that if you want to play online games or participate in any conference type programs that you need to change some settings on your modem.

Well if you have been experiencing these problems and can’t play xbox live then here is what you need to do.  Log into your modem on your computer.  Try going to http://192.168.1.1/ and use admin and password as your password.  Then click on Security and then look for DMOZ hosting and active that setting.  That will allow you to continue gaming on your xbox.  Its that simple but if you didn’t know where to look, its next to impossible to figure out cause their customer service department is not the best to deal with to get any answers.
